Maitland Australian Physiotherapy Seminars (MAPS) presents 3 day clinical seminars for PT's, PTA's, MD's, and DO'S. The format is 70% "Hands-On" individual laboratory instruction, and includes "live" patient demonstrations. The Maitland-Australian concept of assessment and treatment is presented in a graduated continuum to encourage clinicians to improve their skills in the management of SPINAL and PERIPHERAL conditions through accurate and focused assessment and subsequent treatment. Company Profile
MAPS was founded in 1985, by Dr. Robert Sprague PT, GDMT, PhD, as Cayuga Professional Education Association (CPEA). Since its inception, CPEA has provided a continuing education sequence for clinicians to become familiar with the teachings of Geoffrey Maitland and other researchers and clinicians who have contributed to what is now known as the Maitland-Australian Concept. This concept of assessment and treatment for SPINAL and PERIPHERAL conditions is recognized worldwide as an efficient, safe and gentle way to alleviate pain, restore movement, and maximize function in orthopedic patients. CPEA was recently renamed MAPS to better describe the nature of our seminars.

Our seminars incorporate the teaching of Geoff Maitland and others who have contributed to what has become known as the "Maitland-Australian Concept".	Registering for classes is easy. Submit full payment with the registration form. Reservations are limited to a first come, first-served basis.	Come meet our faculty staff. Each of our faculty has experience a wide variety of manual therapy practices as well as specialty areas.
